What battery capacity tells you
Capacity describes stored energy, but real-world range also depends on speed, payload, road gradient, temperature and battery condition.
Why charging times vary
Charging equipment, initial state of charge and ambient conditions can influence the time needed. Use the equipment recommended in the vehicle manual and follow its safety instructions.
Compare like for like
Consider battery voltage, capacity, stated range and charging time together. Results obtained using different test procedures may not be directly comparable.
